Jane Scheidecker

About the author:

Jane Scheidecker is the director of the Business Development Center at Lane Community College in Eugene, Oregon. She has dug ditch and fitted pipe. She integrated an oil refinery (female/male), opened a language academy in Spain in the 1970's, created a cultural tour company before the trend caught on, and currently is a co-owner in a retail bakery and cafe. If it can go wrong in business, Jane may well have experienced it. In addition to all this practical expertise, Jane has a masters in romance linguistics from the University of Washington (which is not as romantic as it sounds) and a masters international management from the Thunderbird Graduate School of International Management. Jane has been the director of the Business Development Center since 1990.
